Z major isn’t a new scale for our songs. It’s neither a new music genre nor a new style we’d like to invent with HANGMÄN’S NOOZE. Zmaj is simply the feeling we get, the delight in what we’re doin’, everytime we meet. Power, enthusiasm and a whole lot of fun rockin’ together.
That’s what Zmaj means. And this is the result of it all: Handmade Heavy Sleaze Rock, all in the sense of the glorious 80ies. As if someone had switched the Sunset Strip to Seattle. For all this HANGMÄN’S NOOZE stands for. And for a full load of Rock’n’Roll!
The guyz behind the band are ANDY PICHLER (Vocals), ZOLTAN DARABAN (Guitars), JOEY ROXX (Bass) and HANS GEBHARDT (Drums), all known from many other bands. We got together in the first days of the year 2008, just played our first shows and now are heading into a great future full of live gigz and happenings.
Now it’s about to bring Zmaj to you. Get captured by this fascinating feeling! As it is hard to write it down, you better check us out somewhere on the road.
